Privacy policy

1. Who we are

Platinum Wash PDX is an exterior cleaning company in the Portland, Oregon metro area, operated by Vander Heide Building & Design LLC (Oregon CCB #249206). "We", "our" and "us" mean Platinum Wash PDX. This policy covers platinumwashpdx.com, our quote forms, and the texts and calls we exchange with you.

2. What the quote forms collect

When you ask for a quote, we receive what you enter:

• Contact details: your name, phone number and email address
• Your property: the address or city, and the services you are asking about
• Your message: anything you add in the notes, and photos if you choose to send them

The form also records how you found us: the page you first landed on, the site that referred you, and, if you came from one of our Google ads, the ad click identifier Google adds to the link. We use this only to learn which ads and pages bring in customers.

Like most websites, we also use analytics that count page visits and time on the site.

3. How we use it

• To answer your request, give you a quote, and schedule and do the work
• To contact you about your quote and your appointment, by text, phone or email
• To send your invoice or receipt, and occasionally to ask for a review after a job
• To understand which of our ads and pages work, so we can spend less on the ones that do not

4. Text messages

When you give us your phone number on a quote form or text us at 971-256-6246, you agree that we may text you about your quote and your appointments: answering your request, confirming a time, letting you know we are on the way, and following up after the job. These are messages about your job, not advertising lists. Message and data rates may apply, and how often we text depends on your job.

Reply STOP to any text to opt out. You will get one confirmation and no more texts from us. Reply HELP for help, or call us at 971-256-6246. Your phone number and consent are never shared with or sold to anyone for their own marketing.

5. Who else sees it

We never sell, rent or trade your information. A few service providers handle it for us only so we can run the business: our phone and texting provider, the database that keeps our customer records, our website host and its form service, and our calendar and note-taking tools. They may use it only to provide those services to us. We may also share information if the law requires it.

6. Google accounts

Our scheduling tool connects to our own Google Calendar to keep our jobs on it and to avoid offering you a time when we are busy. It reads only whether our time is free or busy and manages the calendar it creates; it does not read the details of other events, and it never asks for or reaches your Google account. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your records while you are a customer or might become one, and as long as tax and business records require. Ask us and we will delete what we do not have to keep.

8. Security

Our website uses HTTPS, our records are kept in access-controlled systems with encrypted backups, and only the owner can see them. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care to protect your information.

9. Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop hearing from us, by emailing julianjamesvh@gmail.com or replying STOP to any text.

10. Children

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new date.
